About the Festival of Teaching

The Festival of Teaching, coordinated by the Professional Teachers’ Association of the NT (PTANT) and Member Associations, is a one-day biennial event offering educators professional development across the curriculum and all levels of schooling.

On Friday 23 August, please join us for our formal Welcome function and art exhibition, at the Darwin Entertainment Centre.

On Saturday 24 August, as many as 350 educators will gather at Palmerston College to make the most of the Festival’s professional learning program, including:

Two keynote speakers, Mr Steve Francis and Ms Gabbie Stroud;
50 workshops spanning the curriculum; and
Trade displays providing access to educational organisations and resources.
At the end of the day, we will all gather at the post-Festival Network function at Rydges Palmerston to unwind and reflect.

This is the fourth PTANT Festival of Teaching. The goal of the Steering Committee is to deliver the preeminent professional learning event of the year for NT teachers.

Early Bird registration has now closed, but registrations are still open
